God's Authority in my Life |
| Although we know that we have committed our lives to follow Jesus, we sometimes may feel like His Word does not always have complete authority in our lives. Our lives can sometimes be guided by ourselves through our fleshly desires, such as lust, or even through traditions that may not have God in them. The basis for this Bible Study is threefold: 1) to expose why we sometimes get tripped up and may not have God's authority in our lives; 2) to identify and share in a safe environment those sins that trip us up; and 3) to find ways to help us so that we don't get tripped up anymore. NOTE: The purpose of CI's Online Bible Studies is to have persons to come to know Jesus and become closer to Him. The Bible Studies are free of charge. Christian Institute is only asking that persons signing up for an Online Bible Study has a charge from God to want to get to know Him more. The time duration for this Bible Study is contingent upon the fellowship that the Bible Study group wants. However, after going through the study, a person should become a facilitator for new persons who are interested in taking this Bible Study. |
| How Online Bible Studies Work |

Institute's Online Bible Studies are held in CI's Online Classroom.
Basically, once you're in the online classroom, you only have
to click links and your Bible readings will show in a different
window. You will write your reflection of Scripture and your assignments
in spaces provided by the classroom. At the specified time for
the Online Discussion, you will go to the online classroom, click
Chat, and you will be conversing live with your other
online Bible Study participants. Although the Online Discussion
is good to be part of, it is not required to participate in an

the course. You may choose to use a pseudonym first and last name
to protect your privacy because of some discussion in the classroom.

log-in information within one business day. All participants must
be eighteen or over. The Online Discussion will be based on the
