To renew one's credential as a certified counselor, the counselor needs at least 60 hours of continuing education hours from approved provider.
Students must first complete a nine (9) hour course consisting of six (6) hours in ethics, three (3) hours in diversity and inclusion. Christian Institute is an approved provider with NAADAC. You can take this online course through Christian Institute for $300. The course has readings and quizzes for each section. The coursework is equivalent to nine-hours of classroom work, including reading. |
