Starting the Certification Process

Christian Institute (CI) is approved both by CCAPP (California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors) and CADTP (California Association of DUI Treatment Programs). Both certifying bodies are approved with California Department of Health Services (DHCS) to certify candidates as certified counselors to work in treatment programs.

Because Christian Institute is approved with both associations, this means that you don’t have to worry if the courses you take will count towards your certification. You can visit CCAPP’s and CADTP's websites for more information.

Christian Institute is also a NAADAC (National Association of Alcoholism Counselors and Trainers) Approved Education Provider.
