I am seeking to be, as much as possible, a good servant of You, Lord. In my life, I have gone astray. I am seeking to lead a life that is down the narrow path of The Way. There are many distractions that can move me from the right path. I must be strong and stay on it.
O Lord, give me the strength to ensure that I stay on the right path. I desire not to sin against You. As I deepen my relationship with You, I realize that so much of what I have done and sought was vain. I desire not to be vain. Put the right things in my heart. Take away the impurities of vain living. Help me, Lord. Let me know what is right for me and let me pursue it. Please don’t let me be deceived. The deception leads to misery in the end. Thank You for Your wisdom.

Dear Lord,
Increase my desire to walk with You more. I want to know the fullness of Your glory. I want to know the power of Your resurrection in my life. Your life was to give it so that others can have life more abundantly. Christians are now Your body on earth. Christians must do what You would do if You were on Earth. Having this realization, I want, Lord, to be part of Your body. I want to participate in what You are doing by giving others abundant life. Lord, I feel that I am now ready to accept the calling to go out and give others abundant life through You. Let me not look back at where I was, but let me look forward to what will happen. Lord, I believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that You have brought me for this purpose. I receive it. Let me be strong in accepting my mission. You will set my steps for me to be in You. I submit myself to You. O Lord, I must learn to praise You. After having life with all I can ask for, I must learn what to do next. I feel that there is still a hunger in me that must be quenched. I am resolved now to seek what I need to do now . I feel that it is to fulfill my mission from Luke 4:18. This gives me satisfaction.
Lord, I ask now, that You give the desire to do what I should be doing. Let me know each season. In the season of calm, I realize that it is a time for prayer and praise. Right now, I want to praise You. I want to know all of your excellencies. I want to bow down to Your authority over me. In light of the calm and comfort You provide, I want to pray and thank You. Thank You. Lord, I know that You take care of me. You are involved in every aspect of my life, my coming and going, my awaking and sleeping, my total existence. I want to recognize more of Your presence in my existence. I want to recognize You in all things I do, say and think. I want to recognize You every moment of the day, even while I sleep.
Let not one moment pass when I am not conscious of Your presence. By being aware of You in this manner, I know that only good can come of it. I will seek to know You more. |
