Help Me Want to Pray More

O Lord,

In wanting to be more like You, I must become more immune to stimuli in the environment. I cannot be jerked by every little that produces. I must be strong in You, O Lord. I ask that I can be humble in all my dealings with others. Help me to love them. Help me to give love where others are sure that it is from You. I am seeking You, Lord. I am learning how to get closer to You. It comes through prayer. I realize that prayer enables execution of Your Word in my life. I can be full with Your word but I need to pray to make it work. Help me to want to pray more.

O Lord,

I am seeking to love more. I saw the fruit that grows as a result of giving love. I want to realize the profoundness of loving You and others. I realize that loving You allows me to enter Your rest. Loving others provides the condition for amicable relationships and settledness with each other. O Lord, thanks for providing this knowledge to me. Let me now have wisdom with it. I am determined to love You and love others more. I will seek only this. I will trust that You will take care of all other matters in my life. You know what I desire. I pronounce myself dead to me. I annihilate my will. I welcome Your resurrecting Spirit to give me life. I ask for the wisdom to follow Your way. Let me know nothing else. I destroy my mind that was made of the flesh and welcome the renewed mind of the Spirit, which is of the present and future, not of the past.

Have mercy on my soul. You keep my soul. You have set me in places where I thought at one time I would never be. You have given me love. You have taken away the hurt, frustration, pride, inferiority complex, anger, deceit, and other negative feelings and behaviors. In lieu of these, You have given me Your fruit. I now must recognize and accept Your blessing. I realize that the things I once sought were not of You. My flesh had overtaken me. I had become a product of unrighteousness. I was the sport of my enemies, the flesh and satan. O Lord, I thank You for the deliverance. I ask that You keep me in tack. I thank You for your mercy and goodness.

You Equip Me to Do Your Will

Have mercy on me, dear Lord. Let me be secured in You. Let me know that I have all things in You. I need nothing else. I can live in this world and not be anxious about anything that can happen to me. You will strengthen me to go the course I must, and You will defend me against attacks and obstacles along the course. I can rest in You to take care of all my needs. You will provide me with the knowledge and skills to do your will. You will strengthen me in all ways so that I can stay the course that is set before me. You will implant ideas into my mind. You will give me the eye to see the hidden motives. You will be my support to hold me up when the times are treacherous. I thank you, Lord, for being my blood.
