Enjoying the Most Important Aspects of Life

Lord, thank You.  Thank You for allowing me to have and enjoy the most important aspects of life.  

Of most importance is having a relationship with You.  I am realizing that I can actually let go of so many things about which I used to worry. I am realizing that the more I trust in You, my life becomes less complex and I can enjoy it much more.  In fact, You do more for me, by just trusting, than I can do by troubling myself with worry and exerting energy in trying to get something done.  I thank You for letting me have this confidence. 

Secondly, I thank You for my family.  You allow me to reap the benefits of having children and a woman of my flesh.  I get to enjoy their presence and very many of their joys.  As they have joy and happiness in life, I have joy.  I realize that this can only be from You.  Thank You.

Another important blessing from You is Your protective hedge around me.  I thank You that I do not have ill circumstances that trouble me and my family.  Such circumstances could be any emotional, physical or mental sickness, oppressing forces, or debilitating circumstances.  My circumstances are minor, not requiring worry over them.  Thank You.
