Give Me Strength to Submit Myself To You

Give me strength, O Lord, so that I can always have You in my hope to live.  I want to have peace in You so that I know what I should always be doing.  I want to have the fullness of Your Spirit in my life.  Whatever situation I have, please let me know that You are in charge of it. 

​I have faith that You will constantly keep me where I need to be so I can be close to You.  Give me the strength to endure the spiritual battles that occur in trying to make me turn my faith from You.  I declare that I will hold firm to You.  I will not look or feel my flesh.  I will know nothing except You.  I will forget and put away all things that come to try to make me distrust You or to find joy in it through sin.  I submit myself to You.
