I am Learning to Partner with You

Lord, I am learning to partner with You.  Your Word says that Christians are Your body.  We are You in action.  I am learning that I must allow You to work through me.  I often cut You off by trying to do something my way.  I seek to fix it with my own strength.  I am learning that this is a reason for prayer:  to turn things over to You so that You can work. 

I should not try to do things on my own.  I must pray and let You work it out, then I can abide with the outcome.  I am seeking for You to control everything that pertains to me. 

​Give me, please, the self-control to allow You to work in my life.  Your work in my life will be to uplift You and uplift others.  I will seek You diligently.  I will trust You and lean not on my own understanding.
