I Receive Your Calling

Dear Lord, 

Increase my desire to walk with You more.  I want to know the fullness of Your glory.  I want to know the power of Your resurrection in my life.  Your life was to give it so that others can have life more abundantly.  Christians are now Your body on earth.  Christians must do what You would do if You were on Earth.

Having this realization, I want, Lord, to be part of Your body.  I want to participate in what You are doing by giving others abundant life.  Lord, I feel that I am now ready to accept the calling to go out and give others abundant life through You.  

Let me not look back at where I was, but let me look forward to what will happen.  Lord, I believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that You have brought me for this purpose.  I receive it.  Let me be strong in accepting my mission.  You will set my steps for me to be in You.
