Keep Me Close to You

Dear Lord,

​I wonder what is the matter if I don’t feel the joy that I think I should be feeling because of staying close to You.  This feeling creates the thoughts that I am not in Your perfect will.  I am asking You to direct me and let me humble myself so that I can feel the closeness of your love.  O Lord, please do not forsake, but let me know where I belong.  I will seek You in the uttermost sense.  I want to know Your will and not on the periphery of holiness but in the core of it.  Lord, cleanse me so that I can dwell in Your presence.
