Prayer and Praise in the Time of Calm

O Lord, I must learn to praise You.  After having life with all I can ask for, I must learn what to do next.  I feel that there is still a hunger in me that must be quenched.  I am resolved now to seek what I need to do now .  I feel that it is to fulfill my mission from Luke 4:18.  This gives me satisfaction. 

Lord, I ask now, that You give the desire to do what I should be doing.  Let me know each season.  In the season of calm, I realize that it is a time for prayer and praise.  Right now, I want to praise You.  I want to know all of your excellencies.  I want to bow down to Your authority over me.  In light of the calm and comfort You provide, I want to pray and thank You.
