Prayers to You

Dear Lord,

I pray that I can be strong in You. I ask that I be made whole in all areas that weigh me down. Let me put aside all sin and weight. I want to seek You in faith as a clean vessel. I don’t want to know sin. I ask that I can not only keep my mind on You but also focus on living a walk of faith.

Here I am, Lord, direct my steps. Remove every false way and ways of vanity. In cleansing me, let the fruit of the Spirit grow in my life. I must only rest and trust in You. Let my love for You show through my words and actions. I turn away from all ungodliness. I offer this temple to You to dwell. Fill me up so that Your presence is known. If I have an evil thought, I rather not think at all. Let my mind be filled with the ringing and breeze of the Spirit. Let no other thought enter.

I need You, Lord. This life in the world is difficult because of sin. Every way I turn I see sin. The truth in knowing You is to turn from sin. I must not be conformed to this world. I must not like the things of this world. It is so contrary to You. Let me realize where I stand. I want to remove every pebble of unrighteousness from my life. Most of all, I welcome an overflow of Your Spirit. I turn to You to keep me in Your Way. Let my way be solely on You. Let my thoughts grow in You. Let my life grow in You. Lord, have mercy on me, and do with me what You will. Please put the things that You want me to do in my mind and feelings.
