Starting the Certification Process in North Carolina
Christian Institute (CI) is approved by NCASPPB (North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board), a division of the Texas Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. The NCASPPB is approved by the IC&RC to certify candidates as certified counselors to work in the field of drug and alcohol counseling.
Because Christian Institute is approved with NCASPPB, this means that you don’t have to worry if the courses you take will count towards your certification. Christian Institute offers the required courses needed for the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Christian Institute is also an NAADAC (National Association of Alcoholism Counselors and Drug Abuse Counselors) Approved Education Provider.
