The next Step Program

The Next Step Program

Purpose

Designed to help addicts and alcoholics get on the right track, Christian Institute's Next Step Program is economically affordable, effective and comprehensive.

Background
It happens so often that those in search of help to get clean and sober spend a lot of money and don't find a resolution to their addiction issues. They try 30-day programs, cold-turkey, advice, 12 Step meetings, isolation and other actions to try to find an escape from the stronghold of addiction. Yet, they find themselves in the same hole as they were before without hope, even deeper. In seeking help, some have spent thousands of dollars, countless hours, broken promises, and heartache to try to achieve a lifestyle of being drug-free, but they have nothing to show for it except disappointment.

In other instances, those overcome by addiction problems don't know where to turn. They might try cold-turkey, stop using for a short period of time, or even just use more. In each instance, the surmounting, devastating failures only lead to more blows to their already shattered self-esteem.

What To Do
Christian Institute's Next Step Program understands. The Next Step Program is here to help a person determine what  they should do next: whether it be to go the the right type of meeting, detox, outpatient or in-patient. Most of all, the person will have an understanding ear to hear them nonjudgementally with the struggles with substances. The Next Step Program is to assess and recommend what should happen to the person in the continuum of care of drug treatment.  Insurance payments, taking it a day-at-a-time, controlling what one uses are all important on the journey to recovery. CI's Next Step Program understands this. As most know and would say, succeeding tomorrow starts with one does today.

How It Works
Christian Institute's Next Step Program offers addicts and alcoholics a  next step for what they should do to start the road to recovery. Devastated by the addiction, addicts and alcoholics need a reasonable place to turn. The place is The Next Step Program. The program has a three-prong approach to helping someone to start to get out of the cycle of the malady. It is a one-month program costing only $1100. It consists of:
  • Four Individual counseling sessions (one per week)
    • The first session is to review the addiction assessment and and treatment plan that is primarily designed to help the client after the one month. Each client is provided with a certified drug and alcohol counselor.
  • Four Addiction Educational Classes
    • The topic of each class is to support what is going on in the individual counseling session and group counseling session.
  • Four Group Counseling Sessions
    • Led by a certified drug and alcohol counselor, the group session is to help members of the group work through the common issues they are facing.
