What is CCAPP?

The California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards in addiction treatment, prevention, and recovery support in California. CCAPP serves as the leading statewide membership organization for addiction professionals and treatment programs, providing education, certification, advocacy, and networking to those working in the field of addiction treatment and recovery services.

What They Do

  • Certification and Training: CCAPP offers certifications for addiction professionals, ensuring that those working in the field are highly trained and knowledgeable in best practices. They also provide continuing education opportunities to keep professionals up to date on the latest research and treatment methodologies.
  • Advocacy and Policy: As a voice for addiction professionals, CCAPP actively advocates for public policies that improve access to addiction services, protect the rights of individuals in recovery, and promote effective substance use treatment and prevention strategies.

Christian Institute (CI) and CCAPP Certification

The Christian Institute (CI) is proud to be approved by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), a leading organization recognized for its commitment to advancing professional standards in addiction counseling and treatment. CCAPP itself is an accredited body approved by the California Department of Health Services (DHCS), and as such, it holds the authority to certify addiction counselors working in treatment programs across the state.
